To enable Java and Javascript (and to load images automatically)
(Feel free to print this page out for reference.)
Netscape (including AOL)

  • Click on "Preferences" at the bottom of the menu that drops down.
  • Click on the word "Advanced" at the bottom (NOT the + in the box).
  • Be sure that all boxes (except the last one, unless you want that, too) in the top section are checked, including "Automatically load images."  If not, click on each one.  (You'll need to be able to accept cookies to play "Find The Dragon," so check "Accept All Cookies" in the bottom section.)
  • Click "OK."
  • Close this window and then click on the "Click Here" button in the middle of the page to doublecheck.
 Internet Explorer
  • Click on "Tools" way at the top of your screen, right under the page title.
  • Click on "Internet Options" on the drop-down menu.
  • Then click on the "Security" tab and then on "Custom Level."
  • Scroll about halfway down the page to "Java Permissions" under "Microsoft VM" and be sure that "Disable Java" is not checked.
  • Then scroll all the way to the bottom and check "Enable" under "Scripting of Java Applets."
  • Click "OK."
  • Close this window and then click on the "Click Here" button in the middle of the page to doublecheck.
